DAY 1 – Amazon River Adventure
Your adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel or the Iquitos airport. We’ll head to Bellavista-Nanay Market, where you’ll explore local products like aguaje, suri, jungle fruits, and Amazonian fish — a perfect introduction to Amazon culture and flavors.
Then, we’ll board our boat and navigate the Nanay and Amazon Rivers, where you’ll witness the stunning meeting of the two rivers, their black and brown waters blending dramatically. Your guide will share stories and facts about the mighty Amazon River and its ecosystem.
After about 30 minutes, we’ll visit Fundo Pedrito, home to the Victoria Regia, piranhas, alligators, and the giant paiche (pirarucú). You can even feed these amazing creatures before continuing to our jungle lodge for lunch and a short rest.
In the afternoon, we’ll explore Fundo Neyser, where you can see monkeys, sloths, parrots, macaws, and maybe even an anaconda. Before sunset, enjoy a magical moment spotting pink dolphins as the sun sets over the Amazon River.
After dinner, take part in a night walk through the jungle to observe frogs, tarantulas, insects, and nocturnal birds, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.

Following lunch and a short rest, we’ll visit a small Yagua community, one of the Amazon’s ancestral tribes. You’ll learn about their culture, language, traditional dances, and blowgun hunting techniques. This is also a perfect opportunity to purchase handcrafted souvenirs directly from the artisans.
