Day 1: Into the Amazon

8:00 AM — Hotel Pick-Up
Your Amazon adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Iquitos. Travel toward the Nanay River and make a brief stop at Nanay Bridge, where the city gives way to the landscapes of the Amazon. You will clearly see the meeting of the 3 three rivera: Nanay, Itaya and the Mighty Amazon.

10:00 AM — Arrival & Check-In
Arrive at the lodge, settle in, and take some time to get comfortable in your surroundings before your first jungle excursion.

11:00 AM – 1:00 PM — Jungle Hike
Head into the rainforest on foot for your first exploration of the jungle. Walk beneath the canopy, discover the incredible diversity of plants, and keep your eyes and ears open for wildlife along the trails. It is possible to find different types of insects, some frogs, snails, lizards and exotic birds like trogons and hummingbirds.

1:00 PM — Lunch
Enjoy lunch at the lodge surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. A typical dish (juane) will be served as part of the menu.

3:00 PM — Amazonian Village & Dugout Canoe
Visit a local jungle village and learn about everyday life in the Amazon. Afterwards, paddle a traditional dugout canoe through the surrounding waterways, exploring the forest from a different perspective. It is possible to spot sloths and monkeys while enjoying the beautiful calmed water of the black river.
Return to the lodge before sunset.

7:00 PM — Dinner and relax as darkness settles over the rainforest.

8:00 PM — Night Jungle Hike
The Amazon transforms after sunset. Venture into the forest with your guide to discover its nocturnal world. Listen for the sounds of frogs, insects and other creatures while searching for wildlife that becomes active after dark. We can find giant bull frogs, tarantulas, snakes and night insects.

Day 2 — Sunrise, wildlife & river exploration

6:00 AM — Sunrise & Birdwatching by Boat
Start the morning with a peaceful boat excursion to watch the sunrise over the Amazon rainforest. As the forest awakens, keep an eye out for the many bird species that inhabit the riverbanks and surrounding forest. Cranes, kingfishers, hawks, jacamars, fly catchers and tucanets are the most common.

Return to the lodge and enjoy breakfast while taking in the sounds of the rainforest.

9:30 AM — Monkey Search & Giant Tree Hike
Set out by boat in search of monkeys as you explore the waterways and forest edges. Squirrel monkeys and tamarins are easy to find. Continue to a small riverside landing point, where you will begin a short hike into the forest to reach a giant tree estimated to be around 500 years old.
Take time to appreciate its enormous size and the forest ecosystem that has developed around it before returning to the lodge.

Enjoy lunch at the lodge and take some time to relax.

3:30 PM — Pink & Gray River Dolphin Expedition
Head out by boat in search of the Amazon’s iconic pink and gray river dolphins. Explore the surrounding waterways and observe these remarkable animals in their natural environment. This will be a good place and chance to swim in the Amazon.
Sunset — Amazonian Sunset
As the day comes to an end, find a quiet spot on the river to watch the sun set over the rainforest.

Day 3 — Jungle survival & amazon adventure

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and get ready for a full day of adventure deep in the rainforest.

9:00 AM — Full-Day Jungle Expedition
Set out by boat for a full-day expedition into the Amazon rainforest. Today is all about learning practical skills, exploring the forest, and experiencing the jungle beyond the usual trails.
Piranha Fishing
Try your hand at traditional piranha fishing in one of the Amazon’s rivers or lagoons. Learn how local techniques are used to catch these fascinating fish.
Jungle Campfire & Lunch
Deep in the forest, build a campfire and prepare lunch surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest. Your guide will introduce you to practical techniques for safely using natural resources in the jungle.
Caiman Barbecue
Enjoy a traditional jungle-style barbecue featuring caiman meat sourced from the market in Iquitos. This allows you to experience the flavor of a local Amazonian dish without involving the capture of wild caimans.
Hammock Break in the Rainforest
Take a well-deserved break and relax in hammocks beneath the trees. Disconnect from the outside world and simply enjoy the sounds and atmosphere of the jungle.
Jungle Survival Skills
Learn some basic Amazon survival techniques from your guide, including how to navigate and make use of natural resources while moving safely through the rainforest.
Water from Jungle Vines
Discover how some Amazonian vines can provide water and learn about their traditional use in the rainforest.
Before Sunset — Return to the Lodge
Begin your journey back to the lodge before sunset, giving you time to enjoy the changing colors and sounds of the rainforest as daylight fades.

Return to the lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax after a full day of exploration.

Day 4 — monkey island & return to iquitos

8:00 AM — Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before your final Amazon excursion. As an optional addition to your morning meal, you can try suri anticuchos, a traditional Amazonian delicacy prepared with palm-weevil larvae.

9:00 AM — Monkey Island Expedition
Set out on a boat excursion to Monkey Island, where you can learn more about the primates and rainforest environment of the area while enjoying one last journey through the Amazon waterways.

Return to the lodge for lunch and take some time to relax before beginning your journey back to Iquitos.

3:00 PM — Journey Back to Iquitos
Depart by boat for the return journey to the city. Enjoy the final views of the river and rainforest along the way.

5:00 PM — Arrival in Iquitos
Estimated arrival in Iquitos at approximately 5:00 PM, marking the end of your Amazon adventure.
